Presentations To Denture Sufferers.
A few years ago, I worked with a client dentist who was trying to do more implant
cases. This dentist ran ads promoting implant information seminars. Typically
he spends a few thousand dollars each month to promote one seminar by running
ads in local newspapers.
According to the dentist, his seminar ad campaign would generate a
dozen or so inquiries with about 4 or 5 people actually showing up for the
seminar...sometimes only 1 or 2 people showed up. The dentist usually
converted at least 1 or 2 of the inquiries and attendees to new patients. This
was not a very good return on investment. I was able to show this
dentist how to begin doing an additional 20-30 implant case
presentations each week...resulting in many mini implants cases for
stabilizing dentures...and several large implant crown and bridge cases each
month...and he spends a lot less money on marketing!!!
We
realized that many denture “sufferers” were fed up with loose fitting
dentures. This dentist would give every denture patient that came into his
office a brief 3 to 5 minute presentation on how implants could dramatically
improve their lives. He was closing on over 50% of his presentations.
Many
dentists today don’t even want to mess with dentures, denture repairs, or
relines. They may do repairs and relines for their existing patients as a
courtesy, but they don’t really don't go out of their way to help these
dental cripples. This can be a tremendous boon for your dental practice.
